Gitudloan ako sa Ginoong Dios sa angay kong isulti aron mahibalo akong modasig niadtong gikapuyan. Matag buntag gidasig niya ako sa pagpaminaw sa buot niyang itudlo kanako. Giablihan sa Ginoo ang akong salabotan, ug wala ako mosupak ni mobiya kaniya. Gipatara ko ang akong likod niadtong buot mohampak kanako, ug ang akong aping ngadto sa mga milagnot sa akong bungot; wala ko ilingiw ang akong nawong sa nagbugalbugal ug nagluwa kanako. Kay mitabang man kanako ang Ginoong Dios, busa wala ako maunsa; ingon sa batong bantili, ug nasayod ako nga dili gayud ako maulawan; ang molaban sa akong katungod ania sa akong duol. Moses said to the Israelites, "In your observance of the commandments of the Lord, your God, which I enjoin upon you, you shall not add to what I command you, nor subtract from it." The second reading is taken from the Letter of James. We can hear James in this letter saying, "Humbly welcome the word that is planted in you and is able to save your souls." The gospel is taken from the Holy Gospel according to Mark.
